During our recent family vacation at Bucks Head Bed & Breakfast in Church Stretton, we encountered both the charm of an old building and the warmth of welcoming service. The room, while basic, offered all necessary amenities including well-stocked tea and coffee provisions and comfortable beds, ensuring a restful night after our day of hiking in the beautiful Shropshire hills. Although we anticipated breakfast to be included, we enjoyed a varied selection at the pub, which combined traditional pub grub with delightful Greek dishes. This unique touch sparked interesting conversations among our family over meals. The young lady who guided us to our room was particularly polite and helpful, embodying the inclusive atmosphere we appreciated during our stay. Parking was slightly challenging, as we relied on a nearby public car park. Nonetheless, we made the best of our adventure, finding local family-friendly activities that complemented our stay. The Bucks Head proved to be a lovely base for exploring the area, especially for families seeking to enjoy nature and hospitality in a captivating setting.
